The Morley PBA-2 Dual Bass Wah is a wah pedal for bass, made by Morley. Like other bass wahs, it is a foot-swept filter that shapes the tone as the pedal rocks back and forth, voiced to suit the lower frequencies of a bass guitar rather than a guitar's range.
What it does
Published coverage of bass wahs places the PBA-2 among the options bass players actually choose. In a 2023 Guitar World review of the Dunlop Cry Baby Bass Wah, Nick Wells wrote:
"The Morley PBA-2 Dual Bass Wah and the Ibanez WD7 Weeping Demon are very popular with bass players and both retail for around the same as the Dunlop 105Q."1
That is the picture the published record gives: a widely used bass wah that competes on price with the Dunlop 105Q, alongside the Ibanez Weeping Demon. For more on the wider category, see bass pedals, and for Morley's current wah lineup, the Morley brand page.
