Electro-Harmonix Unveils Pocket-Friendly EHX-2020 Tuner Leave a comment

Electro-Harmonix has revealed its first offering for the new year, the EHX-2020, an incredibly affordable mini guitar tuner pedal.

Cheap yet feature-laden, the EHX-2020 boasts a trio of flat tuning modes, calibration from 436Hz to 445Hz, wide tuning range from B0 to B7, and a large-for-its-chassis color LED display.

According to Electro-Harmonix, “The EHX-2020 can be calibrated to a reference standard of 436 to 445Hz in 1 Hz steps so being able to tune to and play together with instruments that might not be at 440Hz is not a problem.”

Not content with that, the EHX-2020 ships with a 9V power supply. Other features include true bypass switching that guarantees signal path integrity. The EHX-2020’s output is hushed when the tuner is engaged, making it suitable for live performance.

The EHX-2020 comes in an ultra-compact enclosure that consumes minimal pedalboard real estate. “With a +/- 1 cent tuning range and high visibility display, it provides an accurate, convenient solution to your tuning needs,” Electro-Harmonix detailed.

This chromatic tuner pedal is not Electro-Harmonix’s only foray into tuning this year. It follows the Clip On Tuner introduced at Summer NAMM 2019.

The Electro-Harmonix EHX-2020 mini tuner carries a price tag of only $39. See Electro-Harmonix for more details.
