Aguilar Amplification has unveiled the latest addition to its bass guitar pedal lineup, the DB 599 Bass Compressor.
Sporting an ultra-compact yet heavy-duty chassis, the DB 599 features a straightforward control interface, with dual knobs for dialing gain and compression amount, along with a footswitch to engage and bypass the effect.
Interestingly, the DB 599 also comes with a gig-saver bypass function that enables the signal to pass through unhindered when its power supply dies mid-song.
According to Aguilar, the DB 599 Bass Compressor is ideal for “bassists seeking a no-fuss, easy-to-dial-in way to add compression to their signal chain without altering the character of their bass or sacrificing their low-end.” Even better, the brand also promises pristine, silent performance, making it a perfect tool for studio settings.
