Ibanez Gives Its TS9 Tube Screamer a 40th Anniversary Ruby Red Makeover

Ibanez announced a 40th anniversary edition of its TS9 Tube Screamer overdrive pedal, swapping the model's familiar green enclosure for a Ruby Red finish. The limited one-off colorway, the TS940TH, was made available to preorder for $179¹.

Guitar World reported that, aside from the celebratory look, the pedal is a standard TS9 throughout, built on the same overdrive circuit as the regular version and carrying identical controls for Drive, Tone and Level. The anniversary touches extend to a 40th anniversary tag on the footswitch¹.
