Source Audio Drops the Collider Delay+Reverb Leave a comment

As the burgeoning popularity of dual-function effects pedals continues apace, Source Audio has unveiled the new Collider Delay+Reverb.

In building this dual-function stompbox, Source Audio hand-picked a dozen of exceptional reverb and delay effects from its award-winning Ventris Dual Reverb and Nemesis Delay, and loaded them into a compact package with massive power yet incredibly simple control.

The intuitive control interface makes it convenient to mix-and-match any two-engine combo of reverb and delay. The Collider delivers an extraordinary collection of rich, spacious tones, including realistic emulations of vintage Tape, Analog, and Oil Can Delays, classic Spring and Plate Reverb models, natural reproductions of small and large acoustic spaces, and a fascinating, highly musical assortment of unnatural tones.

“Until now, the only way to access a high-end collection of reverbs and delays was to purchase two large expensive pedals. We have broken through this barrier with Collider. Now you can have access to a collection of the best reverbs AND the best delays all in the same compact design,” Source Audio President Roger Smith stated.

The feature-laden Collider also includes an integrated tap tempo (with a three-position beat division switch), eight user presets (or 128 presets accessible through MIDI messages), stereo inputs and outputs, external preset switching, external expression control, full MIDI capability, and Reverb Hold mode.

The Collider Delay+Reverb retails for $349.
